We have rental and rent to own Violins, Violas, Cellos, Guitars, and Keyboards available in both Mountain Home and Twin Falls locations.

Welcome to Wakefield Music Academy

We began our business in Mountain Home in 2011. Since that time, we have grown a lot and are now in our third location. We now have 6 studios for private and group lessons and a playroom for families to wait in.

In August 2017 we opened a second location in Twin Falls. We have been blessed to be able to share our talents with the Magic Valley!

 Wakefield Music Academy offers private and group music instruction, band and orchestra rentals and sales, sheet music and accessories, instrument repairs, and piano tuning.

We have classes for all ages, 16 months to senior adults.

Mountain Home Business Hours:
Monday – Friday: 2 pm – 6 pm (lessons often run later)
Saturday: 9 am – 1 pm.
Sunday: Closed

Twin Falls Business Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 1 pm
Wednesday, and Sunday: Closed

Our teachers now offer group and private lessons for:

• Youth string and woodwind ensembles

• Community Choir

We work closely with the local schools to provide rental instruments including:

• Flutes
• Clarinets
• Trumpets
• Trombones
• Saxophones
• French Horns
• Baritones
• Snare Drums
• Bells

Instrument repairs

With our own in house repair techs, your instruments get repaired in our Mountain Home shop. We can provide everything from a guitar or violin restringing, to a complete re-pad and re-cork of your flute, clarinet, sax etc.

Sheet Music and Instruction Books

Our Mountain Home location has a large selection of music instruction books used by local private teachers and the school band programs. Our Popular music selection has many familiar artists available for your personal enjoyment and progress. If we don’t have something you want in stock, we can order for you from our in state supplier and have it within the week.
